SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Post Press Supervisor,
will primarily work at stations throughout the department, stacking,
bundling, sorting, and counting newspapers and other printed materials. In
addition, this position will be introduced to feeding hoppers. The Newspaper handler is also responsible
for working in a safe manner, following all Company safety guidelines and
regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a warehouse or paper-handling
environment is preferred. Work environment is warehouse type with variable
temperatures, and noise. The work is
both physical and repetitive, requiring frequent lifting, stooping,
bending, and moving about the work place.
Required to stand for long periods of time. Hours and days may vary.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the
Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, will be primarily responsible for receiving
inserts, company supplies, etc., This position also maintains an active
record of all inserts in house for multiple publications on the PC
inventory system. Receives inserts
from remote warehouse location and stages them in various work areas
throughout the department for upcoming jobs and assures accuracy in
quantities, and exact match of all inserts. Maintains daily maintenance
check logbook for all company owned forklifts, and maintains inventories of
some company supplies. The Assistant
Warehouse Coordinator is also responsible for following all department
safety guidelines and regulations.
Fills in for the Warehouse Coordinator and Courier during absence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or
equivalent. Previous experience in a
warehouse or paper-handling environment preferred. Valid driver license and
Fork lift certification required. Requires good verbal and written skills
in the English language. Must be safety conscious. Must be self-motivated,
and able to work with minimal supervision. Prior PC experience with Excel
spreadsheets helpful. Organizational skills a must.
