Obviously we don’t totally understand all the aspects and nuances of the PIA process as currently executed. After our meeting on September 13th, however, we hope to be completely familiar with all aspects and positioned to make recommendations that may save members of the newspaper group time, effort and money. That’s our goal. But, on the face of it, it does appear that we offer services that can streamline and optimize the project.

    * Personalization options that may not currently be available through local vendors

    *Working with a vendor who understands the internal Gannett requirements

    * Enhanced security and information control by keeping the data within Gannett

    * Mail that is processed with the highest level of quality and accuracy

    * Providing accurate reports of mailing activity and quality confirmation

    * Systems supported by highly skilled analysts and programmers

    * More efficient communication utilizing Gannett network resources

    * Capability of conducting coordinated insert programs to expand local marketing efforts
