To the photographers, the most important issue is to make a technically correct photograph. To accomplish this seemingly simple task requires a
thorough knowledge of the limitations of the press. A transparency can capture many more colors than can be reproduced on the printing press. That presents a target to "shoot" for!
The photographers measure each shot for a specific color target. By previewing each shot digitally, they will make adjustments to the set, exposure
and aperture to hit a reproducible numerical target in CMYK before ever committing to disk.
