Digital Difference

When an idea hits, you see it clearly in your mind. You are concerned with the mood, the emotion you want to convey. The texture. The clarity Gannett Offset/Minneapolis can help you bring it to the printed page.

Limitations to the press

To the photographers, the most important issue is to make a technically correct photograph. To accomplish this seemingly simple task requires a thorough knowledge of the limitations of the press. A transparency can capture many more colors than can be reproduced on the printing press. That presents a target to "shoot" for!

The photographers measure each shot for a specific color target. By previewing each shot digitally, they will make adjustments to the set, exposure and aperture to hit a reproducible numerical target in CMYK before ever committing to disk.
