Under the direction of the Post-Press Manager, the Driver must have the ability to operate tractor-trailers and department's 24' tandem
axle trucks and vans including performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fueling, loading, etc.
Tractor-trailer and truck operations also include transporting mail, commercial printing products and inserts.
The Tractor-Trailer Driver is responsible for driving in a safe manner, troubleshooting vehicle problems and repairing less extensive problems.
Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two years experience in tandem axle truck operation and one year in tractor-trailer operation. Experience in newspaper Post-Press department or related field is preferred. Mechanical background a plus.
